Rare 18th century box with sliding lid box made of burled wood with with extremely fine detail in the chased metal mounts with traces of gilt. Set with glass paste gemstones imitating coral, lapis and turquoise. Lined with yellow silk on the interior and base, featuring five claw dragon roundels.
