Small scale dovetailed chest. Well made with riveted iron straps, well fitted and inset into the bowed lid and snipe hinges, also known as cotter pin hinges. Substantial fully functional lock with original key, closing the lid securely making this lovely chest still quite practical and useful.

Condition:
Traces of original paint, possibly refinished at one time. Lid has stress crack.
